About Us

             Black Fox Farm was started in1984 as a breeding farm specializing in Clydesdale - Thoroughbred crossbred sport horses. Horse we have bred and sold are being  used for dressage, eventing, foxchasing, show hunters, and pleasure horses. This cross produces easy keepers with kind temperaments, good minds, and athletic ability. Draught horse Thoroughbred crosses are at the beginning of many of the European warmbloods. Most notable is the Irish Draught, the Irish Sport Horse (an Irish Draught and usually Thoroughbred cross) and the Canadian Hunter. Black Fox Farm stands two homebred  stallions Black Fox Farm Incognito and his son BFF In Disguise /*/*/*/ / / whom we are breeding to Thoroughbred mares. We feel this results in a fancier, more refined horse with the increased quickness and endurance, needed for some sports while retaining the pleasant crossbred temperament and good mind. We often have high quality young stock and started stock available for sale. About 5 years ago we decided to expand our services to include inspection and sales preparation for the warmblood and thoroughbred markets, foaling, short term mare care and the coordination and breeding of mares by live cover or transported semen to outside stallions. We actively foxhunt with the Howard County– Iron Bridge Hounds and compete in Eventing in USEA Area II.
