St. Bernard's School
Mission Statement
The fundamental goal of St. Bernard’s Catholic
School is the creation of a Christian Educational
Community. The parish, home, and school share the responsibility of
proclaiming the message of Jesus
Christ in a spirit of love. Spiritually, the school is
responsible for building a strong community of
Catholic faith by inspiring Christian values through the mteachings
of Catholic doctrine and example. With our encouragement, the students
come to recognize their God-given gifts and to respect their individual
differences.
Academically, we strive to provide students with the necessary knowledge
and skills for educational
success. We believe that through our creative
teaching methods each child will realize his/her academic potential. |

Socially, we stress the importance of each student
being accountable for his/her behavior. To develop
moral character, our students are given the
opportunity to participate in human service projects. This enables
them to become responsible and caring members of society.
These statements reflect our current philosophy of
education at St. Bernard’s School and our place in
the entire parish community.
