Girl in China waits for her forever family
This cute 6-year-old girl came into care when she was about 2 ½ years old. When she came into care she was said to be on physically on target for her age, but did not speak or respond to sound. She is reported to be deaf, but may have some hearing ability in her right ear. Her foster mother says she can tell when the phone is ringing, and that she covered her ears while firecrackers were exploding during the new year festival. She also has hepatitis B. When she was 4 ½ years old, she joined her foster family, and is said to be growing well under their care. She is described as a “good little girl” who is “obedient”. She enjoys playing with other children, running, and dancing. She waits for an experienced forever family who has the resources and knowledge for a child with possible deafness. Her country program fee has been reduced. For more information, please contact Carrie Palmer at 888-355-4658 or at carriep@holtinternational.org
