Beautiful Square
The Cathedral of St. Basil the
Blessed, or Cathedral of the Intercession, is
located in Moscow's Beautiful Square. It's
construction is ordered by Czar Ivan in 1555 to
commemorate his victory over the Tatars at Kazan.
The cathedral combines nine churches into one
structure.
