Words From the Master

Well gang, all kinds of things have been happening around here. Not much web-site wise but more concerning "Bozak Power: The Movie" (the sequel to Origins). We've been recieving lots of volunteers that want to help out with this film. Most, if not all of the parts have been snatched up, but I still have a need for a HUGE mass of extras. I could also use some beefy young lads (or lasses) to help with the flying rigs. If you are interested, or if you have any questions, drop me a line. On the script, I have finished rewriting up to act 1. I now have 3 more to do. With any luck, I should have the script ironed out in a week or two.

June 5, 2000

This past week end we were able to get together and we actually got to do our first filming of the new movie. The weather was great and a number of things worked out to our favor.

What was filmed was Act 3 Scene 1. All that it required was Chang, Woo and a camera or two. So that was easy enough. Other than myself and my brother (Stephen) Jason (our Primary Camera Dude) and Duane (Chief Edit Dude and To Meto) showed up. Later on after much wild goose chasing and a pack of pampers (dont ask) we were joined by the brothers Pickert (Eric and Beam).

I have now been able to see for my self the quality of Jasons camera and let me tell you that it is dang near theatrical quality. This movie is SOOOO going to blow away "Origins". Sunday My brother and I set up a flying rig to test it out. however, Beamer- You left us 2 30' cables. That made it a little difficult to try much out but we did what we could and we found a way to make the harnesses ALOT less painfull to wear. Still need counter weights though...

On a sad note we will be recasting for the part of GigantorX. I've decided that as good as Leo may be for the role, he simply wouldnt work out. And so the quest begins to find a replacement. Stephen says that he may know someone who will fit the bill nicely but I guess we'll have to see what happens.

On the Location front we are in process of trying to get permission to use the space of one of the dead malls in bowie. Many of the open gutted stores have been vacant for years and would be perfect for the cafe, and the empty Ex-Dept. stores would rule as a lair for Lord Ballz. Brad is my man in the field for this assignment and I'm hopeing that he wont let me down and will get me a report in the near future.

Costuming! Much of the more difficult stuff I'm trying to make myself in what ever time that I may have. Other stuff I could use some help with. Namely people keeping eyes open and wallets out. here is a list of some of the stuff that I still need.

2 sets of shin guards/knee pads 2 sets of forearm guards 1 set of football shoulder pads

that is the more pricey stuff. if any one has some of those items that they would like to loan to the cause I will gladly accept. Other items would include: 4 matching sets of sweat pants and sweat shirts, all of them in a medium size; 1 set in black 1 set in green (bright, not forest) 1 set in red (again needs to be bright) and 1 in white.

these will be parts of the uniform for BLTw/ Mayo. with Bei (Brad) in Black, Lei (Chad) in Green, To (Duane) in Red and Mei (Keisha) in White. Derek and I will be covering the rest of the uniform. Should be cool. ^__^

Next week there will be no shoot since I have to be at work, Duane and Beamer will at Bucknell University to show off "Origins" to the guys that aided us in the minion scene (the minions destroying the Bozak Monks). So enjoy your weekend people. The weekend after next I would like to film the Intro but we'll see.

July 2, 2000

We will be soon be having an art contest.  I am planning on getting pictures  of the main characters from this movie up on the site so people can use for character refferance.  The contest is to draw a title graphic for the main page, incorporating the characters from the upcoming movie.  The top 5 entries will be used as the title graphic for the page and will be run through a randomiser.  the will also recieve a copy of the first movie and a movie poster.  (maybe even an eps. 3 Tshirt....  provided I still have some)  So feel free to tell your friends or even cook up an entry your self.  I cant wait to see some of the entries, I know that there are alot of talented people that visit our temple.
