Terms & Conditions of Sale
  1. All Federal, State and Local laws to be observed.

  2. Firearms will be shipped ONLY to a Federally Licensed dealer. Check with your local gun shop to find out what they charge to accept delivery of a firearm for you. You may email us to inquire if we already have a license from a dealer in your area. Please be mindful that any local dealer, documentation and/or charges are the buyers responsibility.

  3. All orders must be paid in full prior to shipping. Money Orders and VISA/MC payment orders will be shipped on the next business day of receipt of order. Personal and business checks held for three (3) days. *Note: Credit Card payments and returns are subject to a 3.5% service charge.

  4. Buyer has a 3-day inspection period (after receipt by your dealer of firearm). If for whatever reason the firearm does not meet your expectations, call for a return material authorization and send back via UPS insured. A FULL refund for the cost of the firearm will be mailed within 24 hours of us receiving the firearm back. Note: This does not apply to any firearm which has been fired by the purchaser; firearm must be returned in the same condition as shipped.

  5. In the case of used firearms: We inspect each firearm prior to shipping, but a firearm is a mechanical device. As all mechanical devices can wear and malfunction, we suggest that all firearms purchased be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to use.

  6. Antique Firearms: Antique firearms are defined as manufactured prior to 1898. These items DO NOT require a Federal Firearms License. These products can be shipped direct to your home.

  7. Curio & Relics (C&R): We welcome C&R Licensee's and value your interest.
  8. The John M. Appleton Co. reserves the right to refuse to sell a firearm to any individual or company.

  9. The John M. Appleton Co. does not assume the liability for the use or future use of any firearm purchased in addition to the sale of this firearm by the buyer to any other person or persons.
