Tessellations Projects

Objective:  Be able to describe a tesselation, replicate two tesselations on graph paper, compose your own tesselation using Clarisworks Paint.

Directions: On the back, demonstrate the 4 types of symmetry: rotation, translation,  reflection, and glide reflection. Then visit the examples to find a student example and a real example of a tesselation.  Copy with colored pencil on the graph paper provided.  Staple to this sheet.  Now go to the Claris Tutorial to make your own.  Save on the school server in the file marked tesselations (inside student, floris homepage, tesselation).
