Sixth Grade Space Home Project
     Directions:  We would like you to spend       outside of class time researching a space
     topic of your interest.  You could check out books from the Floris library or the Reston
     library.  You could research on the Internet.You could visit the Air and Space Museum.

     After you have completed your research, we would like you to design a project.  Ideas:
      * A Space ABC Book
      * A Collection of Space Poems
      * A Written Report
      * Your own idea.

We will be evaluating your Space Home Project based on the following:

TOP PROJECTS:
 At least 350 words typed
 At least 3 resources used to gather information and recorded
  in a formal bibliography
 Personal illustrations (Student drawn) on each page

GOOD PROJECTS:
 At least 300 words typed or written
 At least 3 resources used to gather information and recorded
 Several Personal illustrations (Student drawn)

FAIR PROJECTS:
 At least 250 words written or typed
 Resources used to gather information
 llustrations
