Roberto was born in Santiago del Estero on the 20th of June 1919. Like all of his brothers he
excelled in both sports and music. He both studied and taught in rural schools where he learned the popular myths,
fables and legends of the country and graduated with the title of National School Master.
He plays the bombo with the group and plans the implementation of their artistic and commercial endeavors.
Roberto is married to Josefina Carot, school teacher and school principal,
and has two children Roberto Jose (Ishiku) and Josefina Graciela (Chini) and eight granchildren. |
