The PN
Simulation Program allows users and designers of Direct Sequence
Spread Spectrum systems to generate, display, correlate, simulate
and analyze LinearRecursive Sequences. Two sequences can be set
and analyzed at a time.
Sequences are
set by changing TAP, LENGTH, and FILL parameters. Lengths can be
set to any value from 0 to 262,144 which allow for maximum
flexibility for generating a wide range of sequences.
Hundreds of
Maximal Length TAP settings are included in pull down windows
which allow for easy implementation and analysis of Maximal
Length codes which have very desirable cross-correlation
properties.
The sequences
produced can be product codes which allow for Gold Code
generation and analysis. Many Gold Code example files are
included with the program.
Sequences can
be Autocorrelated or cross-correlated with another sequence.
Threshold alarms can be set in db which allow the user to detect
undesirable partial correlations and interference between codes.
After sequence
generation, the sequences can be viewed and scrolled on the
screen as a square wave and 1 and 0 pattern stream.
Analysis files
can be generated which store the sequence patterns, correlation
results for all examined phases, and threshold alarm report in
text files for later analysis.
The PN
Simulation Software runs on all IBM compatibles with 640K ram, a
hard disk, and DOS 3.3 or higher. A mouse is recommended but not
required.

Users Guide is included in pdf format which discusses Linear
Recursive Sequences , Correlation, Maximal Length codes, Product
codes, and program examples.
